The Myatt-Smith Cemetery
Wake County, North Carolina
Over the past several years, great effort has been expended by Bob
Williams to rehabilitate the Myatt-Smith Cemetery. He was aided
monetarily by many subscribers to the Myatt Mailing List and, I'm
sure, by the physical assistance of many others of whom I am not aware.
Bob has called his work "a labor of love." I'm sure
many will agree after looking at the pictures.
The photos linked to this page show the cemetery prior, during, and
after Bob's labors as well as directions to the cemetery.
Actually, the word "after" doesn't seem quite right as the
work continues, year-after-year. The last pictures received
were after direction signs were placed. The pictures were contributed
mostly by Bob Williams. Also by Marta Guagliardo, Daniel Rand
Tracy and Patsy Terrell.
