Eldridge Myatt was born about 1799 in Wake County NC.  He was the son of Nimrod Myatt and Mary Rench; the grandson of John Myatt Sr and Elizabeth Allen.  He married Nancy Kingston about 1826 in Wake Co NC.  He died March10, 1864 while incarcerated as a Prisoner of War at the Rock Island Arsenal.  He served the Confederate States of America from Tennessee during the Civil War.  Click on these thumbnail images for a larger view.
